tradition with a modern twist. Goldsmith Chiel Hendriks shares his
passion for designing engagement rings that are both contemporary
as unique. "Our Four-ring and Sunflower designs are a tribute to protection, holding on, and security," he explains. "It's a gold ring that can be made in various thicknesses and in three gold types: red, yellow, and white gold. The jewelry can also be made, for example, from family gold that's currently sitting in a drawer and not being worn."
"What's special about the Vier-ring is the symbolic setting," Chiel continues. "It's like a tree root, with four twisted legs holding a stone. For me, that's about protection, about holding on, about safety and security. You can choose the stone yourself, and the round shape of the ring represents the infinity of the relationship. We have a beautiful collection of natural stones that perfectly complement this design. The other design is called the Sunflower; in that case, the setting is like a flower with petals holding the stone."
